Superintendent Townsend served honorably on the Seattle Police Department as both a Police Officer and a Sr. Community Service Officer. Superintendent Townsend has received various professional certifications and has been the recipient of numerous community service awards. He has earned an AA Degree in Police Science from North Seattle College, a BA Degree in Community Services from Seattle University, and has recently received his Doctorate Degree in Divinity on May 14, 2019.
Pastor Townsend is a committed husband and family-man, a Pastor-preneur, loves to talk – with the Word of God being his favorite subject, is respected on the inner-city streets and called upon weekly to console, counsel, and even funeralize those that often the church world either fears or casts away. You might see him at the barbershop, at a restaurant, doing his daily walk, but where ever you see him, he is ministering.
